Phishing Urgency
A perfect example of URGENCY in action.
Phishing emails try to make you panic so you’ll act without thinking. If an email is pushing you to “Click Now,” “Immediate Response,” or “Your Account Will Be Closed”, take a step back. Scammers use urgency to trick people into clicking bad links or giving up personal info. They might claim suspicious activity, an unpaid bill, or a security breach, all designed to pressure you. Before you do anything, check the sender, look for weird wording, and hover over links to see where they really go. If something feels off, don’t rush, stay cautious and verify first!
