Backups: Your Cyber Safety Net
Backups are like the spare parachute you hope you’ll never need, but you’ll be glad it’s there. Encrypt them so no one snoops, store copies offsite (cloud or otherwise), and actually test the recovery, because an untested backup is just wishful thinking. Use versioning too, so one bad file doesn’t wipe out the good ones. For SMBs, secure backups mean faster recovery, fewer ransomware nightmares, and a smoother landing when things go wrong. If you can’t restore it, it doesn’t count!
